Swarms

Swarms, flocks, shoals, crowds and much else, at all scales, show similar patterns of behaviour. As we operate in ever larger groups with ever increasing powers of communication we begin to see more swarm like behaviour in our own species where the individual becomes one with the group, no longer responsible for their own actions, as part of a crowd they become a different organism. We need to better our understand the pattern of this process.
